Apple has yet another tablet to “compete” with on the market as Acer is putting out two Android tablets (at the same time) to compete with Apple.
The first will be a 10.1 inch model that will feature a built-in HDMI port with 1080p capabilities. It’ll also have both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The second one will be a 7-inch tablet with a dual-core processor and running Adobe Flash Player 10.1. It features, much like it’s big brother, an HDMI port and connects via Wi-Fi and 3G. The 7-inch will come with a rear facing HD camera also.
They will both be powered by Android and set for release in April 2011.
Oh, you can also pick up their 10.1 Inch tablet that is running Windows 7, in February 2011. The Window 7 Tablet will come with a docking device that includes a full-size keyboard and weighs in at just 15MM thick. It’ll also have dual-cameras (front and rear) with each featuring 1.3 megapixels. Of course, much like the Acer Android Tablets, it’ll include Wi-Fi and 3G Connectivity.
Will Acer be the ones to take the “King of Tablets” crown for Apple? Only time will tell.
