Mailplane is a Mac OS X client that wraps Gmail’s web interface. There is even an iPhoto plugin for Mailplane which can send re-sized copies of photos to Mailplane and attach them to a new message.

Ooh – this could be the holy grail. Pls may I have an invite as I am a gmail obsessive and also something of a Mac app fanboy who will probably be happy for a year about this if it is as promising as it sounds. Cheers! W
