The way to change the icon for folders, applications, drives, et al in a Mac is not that obvious. Looking around on the Internet, I found that Apple did explained how to do it. Anyway, here is the shortened steps –
- Click on your icon of choice and Copy (Command + C)
- Right Click (Ctrl + Left Click) on the application/folder you want to change the icon and do a Get Info (Command + I)
- Click to select the icon on the top-left of the panel and Paste (Command + V)
That’s it.
Ok, so how would you revert back to the default?
Select the icon in the top-left corner of info window and Delete it.
